Mike Talman – mid 20’s to 40’s. Mike is a professional con man. He has spent time in jail and has pulled many cons with Carlino. Talman is a good liar. He should be very likable and charismatic, but with a dark side. Through a crisis of conscience, he isn’t sure he can follow through with the plan.
Sgt. Carlino – 30’s to 50’s. Carlino is Mike’s partner, but he’s not as likable as Mike. He is older, and physically out of shape. He is a follower, not a leader. You get the feeling he does not like what he does, but doesn’t know how to do anything else. Roat has given him this name for the purposes of this con.
Harry Roat, Jr. – 30’s to 50’s. Roat is a very creepy sociopathic con man who we know is capable of murder. He is a ‘loose cannon’ that reacts suddenly, violently and without conscience. He is the ringleader of this con.
Suzy Hendrix – 25 to 35. Suzy is married to Sam. Recently blinded in a car accident, Suzy is still adjusting to her blindness. She is very likable with a good sense of humor, and a strong need for independence, but she relies heavily on Sam. She is a perfectionist. She is small in stature and physically vulnerable. She does not get along well with Gloria.
Sam Hendrix – 28 to 40. Sam is married to Suzy. He is a professional photographer and a former Marine. He is very organized. He is kindly, trustworthy and almost fatherly toward Suzy. He also interacts very well with Gloria.
Gloria – 10 to 13. Gloria is the upstairs neighbor to Suzy and Sam. Sam has been paying her to help Suzy with chores and shopping. She doesn’t have much experience around adults other than Sam and Suzy. She is very independent and doesn’t like to be told what to do. She acts out when upset.
Police Officer #1 & #2 – 20’s to 40’s, These officers are self-assured and trustworthy characters.
